Kirk verdict honored by The National Law Journal

The $20.6 million jury verdict that Humphrey, Farrington & McClain won last year for a 27-year-old Missouri woman has been named one of The National Law Journal’s Top 100 Verdicts of 2016.
The National Law Journal is a U.S. periodical that reports legal news such as federal circuit court decisions, verdicts, practitioners’ columns, legislative issues and legal news for the business and private sectors.
The verdict in Jodelle Kirk v. Schaeffler Group USA was reached in U.S. District Court in Springfield, MO. Ms. Kirk was exposed to a toxic chemical that was dumped by a ball bearings manufacturer.
In addition, Missouri Lawyers Weekly has named the Kirk verdict one of the state’s five biggest plaintiffs’ verdicts/judgments of the year.
