Congratulations to Ken McClain who has been named to the Ingram’s 250 for the second straight year. The award, given by Ingram’s Magazine, honors the most powerful and influential business leaders in the greater Kansas City region.
In naming him to the Ingram’s 250, the publication calls Mr. McClain one of the nation’s elite personal-injury trial lawyers, securing jury and bench verdicts, or outright settlements through negotiation, for a combined $1 billion-plus.
“He has held to account asbestos suppliers, the tobacco industry and companies that produced artificial butter flavoring for microwave popcorn,” the magazine said.
The magazine also cited Mr. McClain for his key roles in revitalizing the historic Independence Square by pouring millions of dollars into various retail and restaurant storefronts and bringing new residential development to the square with the Market Square Townhomes.
