Humphrey, Farrington & McClain is pleased to announce that Missouri Lawyers Media has selected HFM shareholder Nichelle Oxley as an honoree in its 2021 Women’s Justice Awards in the “Litigation Practitioner” category.
The Women’s Justice Awards began in 1999 and recognizes extraordinary women judges, lawyers, and legal scholars across the state of Missouri who have shown leadership, integrity, service, sacrifice, and accomplishment in exemplifying the highest ideals of the legal profession. The awards cover nine separate categories, including the “Litigation Practitioner” category, honoring women litigators who spend their careers in the courtroom.
Nichelle Oxley has worked at Humphrey, Farrington & McClain since 2013. Her civil litigation practice is wide and varied and includes personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, nursing home litigation, trucking and motor vehicle collisions, toxic torts, and product liability. She has gained substantial litigation experience in trials across the country and has obtained favorable settlements and jury verdicts in a wide variety of different types of cases.
Oxley, who earned her law degree from the University of Iowa, has enjoyed her five-year experience with the Denise Henning Connections mentorship program sponsored by the Association for Women Lawyers of Greater Kansas City and is on the Board of Directors for the Alumni Board of her undergraduate alma mater, Graceland University.
