HFM Attorneys File Lawsuit Against Lawrence Kia

The law firm of Humphrey, Farrington & McClain filed a consumer protection lawsuit against Lawrence Kia on June 29, 2020.
According to the lawsuit, Lawrence Kia has been defrauding customers for years.
Documents reviewed by attorneys for HFM show the monthly income on loan applications were falsely inflated, without the customers’ knowledge, to ensure Lawrence Kia could secure the sale of hundreds of vehicles. This caused customers to pay higher monthly payments than they could afford and suffer financial distress.
Lawrence Kia’s deceptive practices is in violation of the Kanas Consumer Protection Act and may entitle victims to monetary relief.
Customers who purchased a vehicle from Lawrence Kia may be eligible to join this lawsuit. If you would like to learn more about the rights you may have, please contact attorney Paul Anderson of HFM at (888) 353-0491 or (816) 836-5050.
Investigative reporter Andy Alcock of 41 Action News recently published a report detailing Lawrence Kia’s deceptive practices and HFM’s lawsuit.
Describing Lawrence Kia’s practices, HFM attorney Ken McClain said, “It’s a tremendous mess caused by this over-aggressive sales technique that was being employed by Kia. It’s dishonest and it ought to be stopped. It was designed to pick the pocket of all these individuals of monies they should not have expended.”
Attorneys at HFM believe that hundreds if not thousands of customers may have been subject to Lawrence Kia’s unlawful practices. Please contact our firm if you believe you have been impacted.
