Congratulations to Ken McClain who has been named to the Ingram’s 250 for the third straight year. The award, given by Ingram’s Magazine, honors the most powerful and influential business leaders in the greater Kansas City region.
In naming him to the Ingram’s 250, the publication cites Mr. McClain for running one of the region’s premiere litigation law firms and for his track record of major-case victories which, since 1991, have totaled nearly $400 million in damages awarded by juries. His aggregate volume of awards and settlements since 1986 have surpassed $1 billion.
Ingram’s also praises Mr. McClain and his wife Cindy for investing millions of dollars and hours into bringing commerce back to Independence Square.
“When Polly Pop’s, a craft soda enterprise, opened on the square last year, it gave Cindy and Ken McClain a 17th business in the neighborhood,” the magazine said. “Among their other investments, there are restaurants, an art gallery and specialty grocery. He’s done as well from a civic perspective as he has with litigation, earning more than a dozen distinguished-service civic awards and industry honors.”
