Ken McClain honored by Jackson County Democratic Committee

Congratulations to Kenneth B. McClain for being named a 2017 recipient of the Jackson County Democratic Committee’s Harry S. Truman Award.
The award is given annually to a non-elected-office-holding male and female who is committed to grass roots political efforts and advancing the goals of the Democratic Party. Beth Low Smith is the female recipient.
“The support that Mr. McClain has provided to local and statewide Democratic candidates cannot be understated,” the committee said. “Put simply, the Jackson County Democratic Committee is only as strong as we are because of Ken’s years of generosity.”
The award was presented at the 30th annual Truman Gala at Arrowhead Stadium North Club on May 20.
